Joanna Davies
Joanna has been listed as one of the Top 20 Women in Canadian Defence and is a superconnector and very well-respected Business Development professional in Canada, with a growing international following.
She proudly served in the Royal Canadian Navy for 30 years as a Naval Warfare Officer, also working closely with the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Canadian Army. Following her career in the military, Joanna held senior positions at several prominent companies in the Canadian Defence Industry, including QinetiQ Canada, Ultra Maritime Systems, Babcock Canada, and Federal Fleet Services. Her extensive experience in both the private and public sectors, both in and out of uniform, enables her to see all sides of procurement. She possesses a thorough organizational and procedural understanding of DND and the CAF, well-established through her background in operations, contracting and procurement, project management, business development, strategy development, and Lessons Learned and applications of best practices.
She is considered someone who makes things happen in the industry!
